In these times, Xu(e) is working at a special performace along with Zero Wait State and other creative individuals, all playing with the name "Zero Wait enSemble". The performace will be the conclusive event of an artistic happening called "Gemine Muse" in december 2008. More details to come...

It's time to rest... we'll be back in the end of august.
During the last rendez-vous on 21st of June, the two opposite poles meet to record a new improvvisation and to celebrate the summer solstice. Everything was made without any pre-planning purpose nor reharsing before the recording session. We intend to release it as soon as possible as a single downloadable track.
Our beloved friends from Cripple Bastards asked us to remix/produce some of their new short songs (taken from the imminent "Variante alla morte" LP) along with some heavy electronics created for this purpose by "our noise-majesty" Merzbow. It is a great pleasure for us to be involved in such a great collaboration... stay tuned...

We released a new version of our website more focused on xu(e) activities and works. Retrograde will be still available as part of our "portfolio".
The long-awaited CD-R EP "Nonverbal spatial activities / unmoved mover" is finally out. Only 23 copies printed, so please contact us to receive detailed informations.
This two new records have to be intended as linked, one is marked with the symbol of Mercury, the other with the Caduceus... so one is the result of the other, as Our Gold is the result of a perfect alchemical mixture of Sun and Moon.
One of the two opposite poles forming xu(e) moved to Paris at the end of October. His french stay will last at least for six months. Although this change will create a practical problem as for organising concerts and recording new improvisations, it also challenges us to dedicate ourselves to new projects for which living in two different and faraway places is not a limit.
In addition to the double CD with Zero Wait State, we are going to produce a record working on the improvisations performed from August to October 2007. It will be possible to download it for free.
As for "Nonverbal Spatial Activities / Unmoved Mover" EP, mixing and production are eventually over... the EP will be released in a limited version (23 copies) next year.
The video installation on 6th october is now confirmed.

Xu(e), even if not performing on stage, has been asked to provide an audio/visual installation on 6th October 2007, at Csa Dordoni (Cremona), during which Mick Harris (a.k.a. SCORN) and Zero Wait State will perform. Xu(e)'s installation is not confirmed yet.
Xu(e) has been recently working in different areas of interest.
1) Now that Substance v.2 (which contains the interactive "Retrograde" Web EP) is eventually ready, we can go into mixing two tracks recorded in May, 2007. We hope they will be released in September and the title will be "Nonverbal spatial activities / Unmoved mover". We are still defining some details, but the release (as CD-R) should consist of a very limited number of copies. Further information will be available in autumn.
2) From January to April 2007 we worked in close collaboration with Zero Wait State, recording four long improvisations at ZWStudio. Therefore, both Xu(e) and ZWS are working intensively on mixing, in order to create a double CD dedicated to Paul Klee's life and works. There are several references to the Swiss artist. The most important of these references is the polyrhythmic theory, both on a musical level and on a visual level. Everything is created and performed according to this theory and it is put into action by using rhythmic overlappings, phase displacements, echoes, stratified sounds and voices.
